Award winning Carlton Operatic Society return to the Nottingham Playhouse with the regional premier of Mel Brook's record-breaking, Tony Award(R) winning musical, The Producers.

Long time failing producer Max and former accountant Leo concoct a plan to raise two million dollars for a theatrical production that must fail. To be sure of a flop, they choose a musical with cheerful numbers about Adolf Hitler and the Nazis. After the failure of the show, Max and Leo will take the surplus cash and go to Rio. Unfortunately for them, the production is rip-roaring success...

This outrageously funny musical promises the big production numbers for which Carlton has a well-deserved reputation, combined with slapstick humour and tunes you can't help but hum on the way out of the theatre. Catch this musical treat whilst you can!
